A fundamental aspect of the Surgi C Ethical Responsibility is to ensure that all company activities are law abiding and in keeping with all industry guidelines. In order to ensure that industry guidelines are adhered to, a record is kept of all scientific/education support made to any healthcare professionals.
Industry Code of Conduct
The company is a member of the Association of British Healthcare Industries and complies with the organisation’s Code of Business Practice. The Bribery Act 2011 makes breaches of this voluntary code a criminal act and requires all companies to ensure they have adequate procedures in place to prevent unethical behaviour
Environmental Considerations
In order for Surgi C to remain in keeping with the culture of ethical conduct, where possible all employees are encouraged to be as environmentally friendly as possible and to work an environmentally sustainable manner. Surgi C has implemented working practices to reflect being environmentally friendly, including recycling paper and ink cartridges, turning off power of PC’s and printers and using conference calls where possible to reduce employees carbon foot print.
