The Surgi C Academy organise an annual Symposium ‘Current Debates in Spinal Surgery’. The Symposium is designed to provide focused presentations on a range of spinal related issues, where audience participation is greatly encouraged. This theme of audience participation is also maintained through encouraging all delegates to bring a case study, which results in a brief presentation on the case in question and is followed by lively debate. This forum has been used to obtain opinions of peers from different hospitals on more complex cases. An update is provided on the case studies at the following symposium.
